  • Long Description: NEW ORLEANS, La. Ð Jessie Lucas, Bowling Green, Mo., nails new floorboards for a church damaged by floods following Hurricane Katrina. Smith, a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Mo., is a volunteer with Operation New Orleans Area Home (NOAH) Rebuild, an effort to help 1,000 families return to their hurricane-damaged homes. Operation NOAH Rebuild is a partnership initiative between Southern Baptists and The Salvation Army. More than 6,000 volunteers have participated in Operation NOAH Rebuild since its inception.
